Intimate Evening in Support of AFN – June 22, 2025

On Sunday, June 22, our Board Chair, Ran Eliasaf, and his wife Isabelle graciously welcomed more than 50 guests into their home for a powerful gathering focused on NATAL’s trauma response work, with a special emphasis on our helpline operations during times of crisis. The evening featured a moving video message from filmmaker Liron Weizman, who had planned to attend in person to screen her film on PTSD, and an insightful presentation on NATAL’s emergency response efforts. Although rocket alerts in Israel disrupted our planned live conversation with the helpline directors, helpline manager Eliezer joined by phone and offered compelling updates on the growing demand for emotional support and the critical work underway. Guests responded with deep engagement, asking thoughtful questions about our impact and volunteer training. Most meaningfully, the event helped expand NATAL’s circle of support in the U.S.—a testament to the power of community in times of profound need.
