Violence in Southern Israel Escalates, NATAL on Alert to Assist

The bombardment on the Southern part of Israel continues. One grad missile hit Ashdod and another hit next to Yavne at 3pm today adding to the 75 mortar shells and rockets striking Israel in this recent escalation. Fearing a further escalation, authorities announced that schools would be closed in Be’er sheva, Ashdod and Ashkelon today and tomorrow also in Yavne and Gedera as a result of the security situation. Natal continues to be on high alert to provide assistance as needed.

AFN is unsettled and saddened to report that a bomb exploded at a bus stop in Central Jerusalem just a few minutes ago. 25 people were wounded, 4 of them seriously. NATAL  is on high alert and ready to provide emotional and psychological first aid to all who need it.
