On Thursday 23rd April 2009, a week before Memorial Day and Independence Day, a golf tournament was held in The Ga’ash Golf Club, whose proceeds went to NATAL.
 
123 golfers registered for the tournament, competing in two tournaments.  The competition was open to all Israeli golfers with a golfing certificate.

 

At the end of each tournament a simple cocktail reception was held for the participating golfers and prizes were awarded for the first three places. The winners were awarded Hamsas hand-made by members of NATAL’s Social Therapeutic Club. In addition, hats and golf umbrellas were awarded – donated courtesy of Titleist.

 

At the end of the second tournament a raffle was drawn, with prizes donated by the best hotels, businesses and restaurants in Israel.
 
The atmosphere at the fundraising event was warm and supportive. NATAL wishes to thank all the participants, the sponsors and the donors at this event.
 
This type of event raises funds which enable us to continue to care for and aid victims of national trauma: Citizens, parents, children and adults, for whom each day is a fight to live again.
